Join thousands of your closest friends to cheer on marchers, colorful floats, music, and much more for the annual Sacramento Pride March. Harkening back to the earliest days of Pride events as protests against oppression, this event is both a demonstration of activism in our pursuit of equity and social justice as well as a celebration of diverse Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, and two-spirit communities and culture. Your Grand Marshals 2025!

Lauren Pulido is a proud transgender advocate, community organizer, and passionate leader for Sacramento’s trans community. A lifelong Sacramento resident, Lauren has spent the past decade fighting for equity, uplifting LGBTQ+ voices, especially BIPOC trans voices, and building bridges rooted in access, empathy, and empowerment.

From co-leading the National Trans Visibility March to creating pathways for LGBTQ+ business access, and raising the Trans Pride Flag at the California State Capitol and Sacramento City Hall for Trans Day of Remembrance, Lauren’s work is grounded in justice, equity, inclusion, and belonging. He was recently appointed to the Lieutenant Governor’s Transgender Advisory Council, serves on Visit Sacramento’s LGBTQ+ Advisory Committee, and is a columnist for Outword Magazine, where he continues to center trans stories and advocacy.

Lauren is honored to serve as your 2025 Sacramento Pride Grand Marshal. He is joined by his girlfriend Natalie, Grandma JoAnn, and his trans siblings, allies, and friends, whom he has invited to march with him to honor, uplift, and center the transgender community at a time when our very existence is under attack. He proudly shares this recognition with his trans family and community and considers this win for all of our trans community.

Candice Cabanilla

Candice (she/her) is a proud community builder, U.S. military veteran, and founder of Sac Vendor Connect. A former servicemember who served during the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell era and was kicked out because of it, her journey fuels her deep commitment to visibility, inclusion, and pride. She’s the driving force behind The Big Gay Passport, a month-long celebration spotlighting queer owned businesses through vibrant events and popups across Sacramento. Candice also co-owns the small business Sugar Sweetery with her wife, giving her a firsthand understanding of the challenges small businessowners face. That lived experience drives her passion for uplifting others! Creating spaces where makers, creatives, and entrepreneurs feel seen, supported, and celebrated. Whether organizing inclusive markets or giving back to nonprofits close to her heart, Candice is committed to making Pride a joyful reflection of community, resilience, and love.

Camille Adams, also known on stage as ChaCha Burnadette, is a queer, Latinx artist, photographer, burlesque performer, and community leader whose work has left a lasting mark on Sacramento’s LGBTQIA+ and creative communities. For the past 19 years, she has poured her heart into creating spaces that celebrate queer joy, body liberation, cultural pride, and radical self-expression.

As the founder and director of The Darling Clementines, Camille has built one of very few all-queer, all-POC burlesque and drag shows in the country right here in Sacramento. Her work blends performance, storytelling, mentorship, and visual artistry to uplift marginalized voices and create belonging where it’s most needed. She is a fierce advocate for representation, equity, and the power of art to heal and transform.

Her impact is felt in every stage she builds, every photo she captures, and every person she empowers to take up space unapologetically.

Mike Ryder (he/him) is a proud gay bi-racial man originally from the Bay Area, now making waves in Sacramento. As the owner of Motoworks Technology Services, he brings smart home innovation to the greater Sacramento area. Mike is Mr. October 2026 for the BareChest Calendar and serves as Head of Security for Leather Pride Sacramento. A dedicated community leader, he’s held titles with The United Courts of CGNIE and earned the prestigious International Marcus Hernandez Leather Leadership Award for his outstanding service to the leather community. Mike is passionate about uplifting the NorCal LGBTQIA+ community through tireless fundraising and advocacy. When he’s not working or giving back, you’ll find him riding his motorcycle, gaming, hanging with friends, walking his two dogs, or chasing joy at concerts and festivals. Mike leads with pride, heart, and fearless authenticity.
