Covid-19 Safety

Covid-19 Safety

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people gather, and you understand that no precautions can eliminate the risk of exposure.

By attending Sacramento Pride events, you expressly agree to comply with any rules and safety guidelines put in place by the event organizers and voluntarily assume all risks and liability related to exposure to COVID-19, which may include severe illness and death.

We ask that you not attend if any of the following is true for you or anyone at your party:

  • Within ten days before attending Sacramento Pride events, you have tested positive or been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19;
  • Within 48 hours before attending the Sacramento Pride Events, you have experienced symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g., a fever of 100.4F or higher, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking muscle pain/achiness, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, nasal congestion, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19 identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention);
  • Within ten days prior to attending the Sacramento Pride events, you have traveled anywhere (including any international territory identified by federal or applicable state or local governments as being) subject to travel or quarantine advisories due to COVID-19

What COVID-19 Protocols Will Be In Place?

The health and safety of our community is of great importance. The Sacramento LGBT Community Center and Sacramento Pride will follow all local and state COVID-19 health and safety guidelines in place at the time of Pride events. As the pandemic continues to be a dynamic situation, we will adjust our policies and communicate any new or changing requirements and expectations to ticket holders before the events. Visit here for the most up to date California State guidelines: https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CID/DCDC/Pages/Immunization/ncov2019.aspx

Masks are recommended, but not required, per state guidelines.

Sacramento Pride is moving toward being a cashless festival. Entry tickets will be sold online in advance to reduce congestion and speed up lines. A limited number of tickets will be available at an on-site box-office and can be purchased with cash for a premium price. We will no longer use beverage tickets. Beverage stations will primarily offer credit/debit tap to pay and digital payment options, with limited cash payment options.

Please note that these guidelines are subject to change without notice.
