He enjoys traveling, learning, and hanging out with his loved ones. Jordan looks forward to serving the community by producing events that appeal to the diverse community of Sacramento.⠀

Originally from Chico, I left at 20 embarking on a 12-year career in entertainment as a lighting designer, stage manager and director on cruise ships, Vegas and Broadway. I joined Sacramento Pride in 2018 as the Entertainment Coordinator and I am proud to be serving my community as your Deputy Pride Director this year.

Ariela identifies as thick, queer, salvadoreña/latinx, Leo sun, Taurus moon, Gemini rising, dog lover, and pizza fanatic. Her favorite thing about working on Pride this year has been getting to build more community and friends through Pride committee and planning an online event for community to enjoy.

Melissa Leal (she, her, hers) has a heart eager to serve her Sacramento community by amplifying the voices that most often are dismissed and silenced. She brings her creativity and tremendous knowledge in fundraising and event management as this year’s Pride Zone Coordinator. She lives in Sacramento with her dog Mae and can often be found at local Drag Shows cheering on her favorite queens.

Rachel P. (she/they), English teacher by day and Sac Pride’s Accessibility Coordinator by night. Working on the committee has allowed me to feel more connected with the local queer and disabled community. Being a voice for those of us who are differently abled has been rewarding and empowering. I’m dedicated to an accessible Pride, and will continue to strive to make it accessible for all.

Michelle is a queer raised in the Bay Area. They identify as Vietnamese-American, 1.5 gen and grew up in San Jose, CA. They prefer rivers over oceans and enjoys perusing solutions to community issues while consuming plates of prosciutto and sour beers with others. They are new to the Sacramento area and joined the Sac Pride planning committee because queering things makes the world a better place for everyone.

Matt is in his third year supporting Sac Pride and is volunteering as our Vendor Relations Coordinator. He is passionate about building strong connections between the LGBT community and the businesses and services that support our cause. In his personal time, he enjoys spending time with his husband, Anthony, and their dog-daughter Sofia – together they love gardening, hiking, cooking, great wine, and throwing the occasional shade.
